Head North 3.5 hours various options
Several routes can be used for travel from New York City. From the West use the Taconic State Parkway, then travel to Pittsfield, MA and follow directions below. From the East and leaving the city through Conneticut, use Merritt – Wilbur Cross Parkway or interstates 95 North to 91 or 84 East to 91 to Hartford. From Hartford, travel on 91 North to Northampton, follow directions below.

Leave Pittsfield on Route 9 heading East.
Go through Dalton following Route 9.
Make a left turn to follow Route 9 as you leave Dalton.
A Cumberland Farms Gas Station will be on your left at the intersection.
Please note that if you need gas there won’t be any further opportunities after 8:00 pm.
If you don’t make the turn, you’ll be on Route 8 and going the wrong way towards Becket, not Cummington.
Stay on Route 9 until you get to Cummington- approximately 18 miles, 20 minutes.
You will pass through Windsor and West Cummington.
You’ll see a building on the right with a cow on top, The Creamery. It is the only store.
Just past the Creamery, on your left, you’ll see a sign for the center of Cummington.
Take a Left onto Main Street.
Project Art, Ferrin Contemporary is on the left, a big red Mill building at 54 Main Street, two houses past Plainfield road and the bridge over the river.

Take Rte 8 South to Adams
Take 116 East to Plainfield
Take a Right on South Central Street/Cummington Road, go 4 miles to end.
Take a Left on Main Street, Cummington.

Take Route 9 West to Cummington for 20 miles.
When you go over the metal bridge, take the next right onto Main Street at the intersection with the fire station on the left, the elementary school on the right.
