At Project Art, a renovated 19th century Mill on the banks of the Westfield River in rural Massachusetts, resident artist Sergi Isupov was the first to invite students for hands-on workshops and demonstration experiences. This year, Isupov will host two workshops in October and November.

The workshops combine demonstrations with hands-on instruction from Isupov and include evening illustrated lectures and chances to work one-on-one with the internationally acclaimed artist. Optional add-ons, pre or post workshop, provide the opportunity to explore area museums, select studios and nearby natural settings.

The hands-on workshop is limited to 10 and prior experience required, while the demonstration workshop is open to all levels of experience and limited to 20. Isupov will demonstrate his processes for a unique audience experience, leading students through demonstration and including techniques of slab construction, underglaze painting, and glaze application .
